Job Position: Quilter
Location: Asheville, NC 28806
Pay Rate: $16.00/hr
Shift: 1st 6a-4:30p M-Th
Are you detail-oriented with great hand-eye coordination? Do you enjoy working in a team-oriented environment? We’re looking for a Quilting Machine Operator to join our team!
What You’ll Do:

Set up and operate the quilting machine, ensuring proper placement of batting, fabric, and thread

Monitor the quilting process, stopping to correct any flaws

Follow vendor recommendations for machine operation and maintenance

Notify the supervisor of any product or procedural concerns

Assist with unloading shipments and support other team members as needed

Participate in training and meetings
What We’re Looking For:

Ability to follow established work, quality, and safety procedures

Strong attention to detail and ability to inspect fabric during quilting

Good hand-eye coordination and the ability to work independently

Team player with a positive attitude

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating workloads

Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs
