Supporting Our Community
The Friday Cares initiative spans Western North Carolina (WNC), with a focus on local communities where our employees and candidates live and work. We have deepened our relationships with local nonprofits and expanded our program’s scope to include crisis response during natural disasters.
WHAT IS FRIDAY CARES
We provide meaningful support to our employees, candidates, and community through direct assistance, volunteerism, and crisis relief. By addressing both immediate needs and long-term challenges, we foster a culture of compassion that strengthens lives and builds lasting community connections.
WHY WE DO IT
Through our volunteer work we are able to see first hand the amazing services our area non-profits provide in our community and can often refer their resources when a candidate or employee is in need.

HOW WE DO IT
Our employees spend 50+ hours each year volunteering alongside local not-for-profits. We also mobilize employee-driven support through direct funding and rapid crisis response. By matching employee contributions, dedicating volunteer hours, and partnering with local nonprofits, we ensure our impact is both personal and far-reaching.
