Location: Asheville, NC
Pay: $16.00/hr.
Shift: 1st Shift, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday – Thursday

Job Description

Our client is seeking a Quilter to join their team! This position involves operating a quilting machine while following established work, quality, and safety procedures. On-the-job training is provided, making this a great opportunity for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Set up batting, fabric, and thread in the quilting machine.

• Monitor the quilting process and correct flawed areas.

• Inspect fabric for quality as it is being quilted.

• Follow equipment operating and maintenance guidelines.

• Report any product, equipment, or procedure concerns to the supervisor.

• Assist with other duties and unloading materials as needed.

• Participate in training and meetings.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination.

• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.

• Ability to work well as part of a team.

• Must be able to stand for extended periods.

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

• Must be available for planned and occasional unplanned overtime.

• No previous experience required – training provided!
