Pay Rate: $18.00/hr (Depending on Experience)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Training: Monday – Friday, approximately 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM for 2–3 weeks
We are seeking skilled Machine Set Up Operators to support a production team in Mills River, NC. This role involves operating and setting up slitting machines and related equipment in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment. Ideal for mechanically inclined individuals looking to grow in a structured manufacturing setting.
What You’ll Do:

Operate slitting machines and related equipment according to safety and quality standards

Load raw materials efficiently and monitor machine operation throughout production runs

Set up machines for different jobs to ensure optimal performance

Monitor and operate automation and production control systems

Troubleshoot equipment issues and escalate as needed

Follow production schedules and work instructions closely

Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of equipment and work areas
Who We’re Looking For:

Skilled in machine operations with strong setup and troubleshooting capabilities

Previous experience in machine operation or manufacturing preferred

Mechanically inclined with the ability to follow routine processes

Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-minded

Physically capable of standing for long periods and handling materials

Able to work independently and contribute to a team
