Job Position: Assembly
Location: Hendersonville, NC 28739
Pay Rate: $20.00/hr
Shift: 1st shift, M-F (7:00a-5:30p)
Description: Looking for candidates who would be responsible for assembling products and components with precision and efficiency, utilizing hand tools, power tools, and machinery. Proficient in reading measurements with a tape measure and interpreting instructions, blueprints, and diagrams. Experienced in working with metal and wood assembly, including the use of tools such as drills, grinders, rivet guns, and nail guns. Capable of operating forklifts, with certification considered a plus.
Qualifications:
• Ability to read measurements with a tape measure.
• 1 year or more of specific experience and/or training with metal and/or wood assembly is required.
• 1 year or more of specific experience and/or training related to the essential functions of the job; or equivalent combination of education and training.
• Experience with power tools including using a drill, grinder, rivet gun, and nail gun).
• Forklift certification is considered a plus.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Requirements:
• Excellent ability to read and adhere to assignments given in a variety of forms.
• Ability to work both indoors and out. • Ability to physically stand, bend, and squat.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Ability to transport, secure, install, build, load/unload materials.
• Ability to clean/remove hazardous or obsolete materials.
• Must pass a pre-employment company background check.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• U.S. Work Authorization. Additional Requirements
• Work independently and in a team.
• Must be able to work overtime, when needed.
• Perform various physical duties as assigned.
• Cross-train in other departments.
