Job Position: Machine Operator
Location: Mountain Home, NC 28758
Pay Rate: $20.00/hr
Shift: 2nd Shift
Description: Machine Operator Responsibilities:
Safely perform machine operations on wire drawing machines to produce wire of accurate size, suitable finish, and required mechanical properties.
Interpret work instructions on a production system, identify the correct stock, read job steps, setup and operate heavy machinery to meet production standards.
Place wire onto the spool, perform quality checks, weigh, tag and box the product.
Knowledge of micrometer, small hand tools, and wire welder machine for fuse/butt welding
Interact with production software
Operate hoists, pulleys, and guides
Be able to follow safe practices when operating equipment within the mill.
Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs.
Overtime as needed.
