Job Position: Fleecing Operator
Location: Enka, NC 28728
Pay Rate: $21.57/hr
Shift: 12hr DUPONT Schedule
Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated Fleecing Operator to join our production team. This role involves the safe and efficient operation of manufacturing equipment in the Fleecing department. The operator will be responsible for performing repetitive tasks, operating controls such as levers, buttons, or foot pedals, and making necessary adjustments to ensure the machinery runs smoothly.
Responsibilities:

Operate manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.

Prepare machines for operation by loading materials and entering data into computer controls.

Monitor and inspect machines, adjusting inputs like pressure and speed to maintain high-quality output.

Record product and material types, temperatures, speeds, pressures, and quantity counts.

Perform quality checks by preparing and weighing product samples, measuring widths and thicknesses, and evaluating the visual appearance of products.

Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.

Carry out any additional duties as directed by supervisors or management.

Obtain and maintain Fork Truck certification.
Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Frequent bending, stretching, pushing, and carrying of heavy objects.

Ability to stand for extended periods.

Some job areas require climbing/descending stairs and mounting/dismounting forklifts.
Schedule:
-
Work 12-hour shifts with a rotating schedule alternating between days and nights
-
Shift times are 6:50 AM – 6:50 PM and 6:50 PM – 6:50 AM on 4 week rotational
