Our Story – 45 Years in Western North Carolina

Friday Workforce Solutions was founded in 1980 in Hendersonville, North Carolina. What started as a small, family-owned staffing company has grown into one of Western NC’s most trusted workforce partners  serving hundreds of employers and placing thousands of workers every year across Buncombe, Henderson, and the surrounding counties and now into eastern TN.

Through four decades of economic shifts, industry changes, and regional growth, one thing has stayed constant: our commitment to matching the right people with the right jobs. Today, we continue that mission while enhancing our workforce solutions to help employers who may not just want to hire a temporary worker and instead just needs help recruiting and filling roles.

Giving back is deeply rooted in who we are. Through the Friday Cares program, we support nonprofits addressing housing, food insecurity, family services, and veteran resources every month. This gives our team the ability to best understand the support systems we have in our community and to help our own employees should they ever have the need, Above all we love to spend time together as a team giving back to our community that gives so much back to us. Our community investment earned us the 2025 ASA Cares Award, recognizing our direct impact across the region and how our organization was a vital resource to our needed employees and that of our client companies that need support during this challenging time. We provide workforce solutions for employers through a variety of recruiting based options including permanent direct hire both for salaried and hourly based employees through weekly direct hire, contract-to-hire, dedicated recruiting support, and Employer of Record staffing while helping job seekers find competitive positions across manufacturing, construction, property management administrative, professional, legal and skilled trades. We have placed more than 300,000 workers across the region.
