Our Client who is one of the world’s largest developers, manufacturers, and distributors of high-performance nickel- and cobalt-based alloys for use in high-temperature and corrosion applications is looking for Machine Operators. Their standard product forms include sheet and plate, bar and billet, seamless and welded pipe and tubing, wire and welding consumables, fittings, and flanges. Jos is Monday through Friday from 3p-11p, with some occasional overtime, $18.00/hr.
Machine Operator Responsibilities:
Safely perform machine operations on wire drawing machines to produce wire of accurate size, suitable finish, and required mechanical properties.
Interpret work instructions on a production system, identify the correct stock, read job steps, setup and operate heavy machinery to meet production standards.
Place wire onto the spool, perform quality checks, weigh, tag and box the product.
Knowledge of micrometer, small hand tools, and wire welder machine for fuse/butt welding.
Interact with production software.
Operate hoists, pulleys, and guides .
Be able to follow safe practices when operating equipment within the mill.
Overtime as needed.
