Position Overview:
As a Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in our clients production process, ensuring the quality and timely delivery of our high-quality label materials. You will be responsible for operating coating and/or slitting machines, contributing to a sustainable future through your dedicated work.
Key Responsibilities:
Machine Operation: Operate coating and slitting machines, loading and unloading laminate rolls, and maintaining the smooth flow of production.
Quality Assurance: Monitor product quality closely, ensuring that only first-quality materials are shipped to our valued customers.
Reporting: Report any machine breakdowns, faults, or potential quality defects promptly to maintain production efficiency.
Coordination: Collaborate with your supervisor and production planning to optimize material and order flow, contributing to a well-organized and efficient work environment.
Compliance: Perform all duties in full compliance with all applicable laws, safety, and environmental regulations, following company policies and procedures.
Adaptability: Be prepared to take on other tasks as specified by our Quality Management System, showcasing your versatility and dedication.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) along with a strong mechanical knowledge.
Previous work experience in the paper/paper converting industry is advantageous.
