Packer/Inspector – Night Shift | $18.00/hr
Location: Mills River, NC
Schedule: 7:00pm–7:00am | 3-2-2-3 Rotation
We’re hiring a Packer/Inspector to support a growing production team in a cleanroom environment. This role is key to ensuring high-quality plastic food and blood bags meet strict safety and quality standards before shipment. If you’re detail-oriented, reliable, and take pride in your work, this is a great opportunity.
What You’ll Do:
• Inspect products for defects such as tears, discoloration, or contamination
• Pack, seal, and label products according to specifications
• Separate and report non-conforming materials
• Set up and manage coils on spindles for proper winding
• Maintain proper product orientation and packaging standards
• Stack and move finished product to designated areas
• Follow all safety guidelines and CGMP standards
• Keep work area clean and organized
What We’re Looking For:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Manufacturing or production experience preferred (plastics, medical, or food packaging is a plus)
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
• Comfortable performing repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills
Cleanroom Requirements:
• Must follow strict hygiene guidelines
• No jewelry, facial piercings, fake nails, nail polish, or eyelashes
• No facial hair
• No perfumes or strong scents
• PPE required (gown, gloves, mask, hairnet, etc.)
