Industrial Painter
Location: Candler, NC 28715
Pay: $21.44/hour
Shift: 1st | Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Position Overview
We are currently hiring an Industrial Painter for a manufacturing facility in Candler, NC. This role is responsible for preparing and applying coatings to air handling units using industrial spray equipment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and experienced in surface preparation and finishing techniques.
Key Responsibilities

Apply industrial coatings using HVLP spray guns and airless paint systems to achieve a high-quality finish

Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, masking, caulking, and dent repair

Perform body fill applications to ensure smooth and consistent surfaces

Apply spray foam insulation within designated paint booth areas

Clean, maintain, and adjust paint equipment to ensure proper operation and finish quality

Safely operate overhead cranes and forklifts to move materials as needed

Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met

Work independently to meet production goals while maintaining attention to detail

Collaborating with team members to support workflow and production needs

Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE and ventilation systems
Qualifications

Previous experience in industrial painting or coatings application preferred

Experience with HVLP or airless spray systems

Knowledge of surface preparation and finishing techniques

Ability to operate or learn forklifts and overhead cranes

Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship

Ability to lift, stand, and work throughout the shift in a manufacturing environment
