Fiber Processing Machine Operator

Pay: $18.75/hour
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Schedule: 2-2-3 Rotating Schedule
Location: Mills River, NC

Job Summary

We are looking for dependable, detail-oriented individuals to tend fiber processing machines in a manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on position responsible for feeding and cleaning machines, making minor adjustments, and performing baseline testing.

Mechanical experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Feed materials into fiber processing machines.

• Clean and maintain machines during operation.

• Make minor machine adjustments as needed.

• Perform baseline testing and monitor machine performance.

• Use material handling equipment.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Requirements

• Detail-oriented and dependable.

• Mechanical experience preferred.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Ability to work a 12-hour rotating schedule.

• Ability to stand for the entire 12-hour shift.

• Ability to bend and twist approximately 20–30 times per day while carrying loads up to 20 lbs.

• Comfortable working in a non-temperature-controlled environment.

• Must be able to safely perform the physical requirements of the position.
