| For over 45 years, Friday has supported Western North Carolina businesses when they needed people. We built this on handshakes, relationships and placements made one relationship at a time. Over the last several years, however, the conversations with many of you started to change.
Several of you were no longer just asking us to fill a role. You started asking us to help you solve hiring and retention challenges. You asked us to reduce pressure on your stretched thin HR teams as their responsibilities continued to expand. You asked us to be a more strategic hiring partner instead of simply another staffing vendor you called when a seat opened up. We listened carefully, and those conversations have shaped how we now show up for our partners.
Today, I am excited to introduce our new name change to Friday Workforce Solutions. For us and hopefully you, this is more than a name change. It reflects how we are evolving to support the hiring and workforce needs companies are facing right now.
You will still work with the same team, the same people, and the same company you have trusted for years. What changes is the breadth of solutions available to help support your workforce strategy.

If your team is overwhelmed with open positions and has limited time to adequately screen candidates, we can embed a trained recruiter inside your business to handle for as long as you need, giving your hiring managers and HR teams valuable time back in their day.
If you just have a few hourly roles that you want to hire directly, and the upfront cost or risk of a traditional professional direct hire model does not make sense, we can structure those placements with an affordable weekly billing model instead.
Maybe you have strong candidates but liked to evaluate them before bringing them on full time, we can manage the employment relationship for a few weeks while you assess the long term fit.
