POSITION SUMMARY

Our client is seeking an experienced Sales Specialist for our Industrial businesses.  This exciting, multifaceted role will include direct account responsibility as well as assisting with reporting, administration and data analysis within the entire Industrial business.  Duties will include account management within both magnesium oxide and magnesium sulfate product lines, in addition to research and management tasks associated with allowing the group to run efficiently.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage a select portfolio of Magnesium Sulfate customers within our Bulk Retail market.

  • Manage a group of inside sales accounts buying Magnesium Oxide products across various Industrial markets.

  • Assist the Industrial Business Director with the management of International accounts buying specialized magnesia products. 

  • Work closely with internal manufacturing personnel to allow good communication between Operations and Sales teams and clients. 

  • Assist the Industrial business group with contract administration, client requests, website inquiries, and product sample requests.

  • Perform guided market research to better understand industry trends and to improve company position and opportunities.

  • Assist with the analysis of Sales data to allow the group to better react to market changes.

  • Collect customer information for monthly reporting and maintain sales forecasts.

  • Work closely with the management team (President and VP-Sales), Operations personnel, and the Sales group (Industrial Business Director and Outside Sales colleagues).

  • Desired Characteristics:

    • Superior communication (written & verbal), presentation, interpersonal, and relationship management skills.

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.

  • Three (3) years of experience in sales, customer service, or supply chain management.

  • Demonstrated computer skills with high proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

 

Travel:  Ability to travel up to 5%.
