We’re looking for a dynamic Human Resources Manager to lead our employee relations function as we embark on a journey of growth and expansion. Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll have the opportunity to shape and implement innovative HR programs that align with our business goals and objectives.

Job Position:                  Human Resource Manager

 

Location:                         Brevard, NC (Greater Asheville area)

 

Annual Salary:               $65,000 – 75,000

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all HR functions from recruitment to training, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.

  • Conduct market analysis to optimize compensation, benefits, recruitment strategies, and employee relations.

  • Develop recruitment strategies and oversee onboarding activities for new employees.

  • Provide ongoing training and support to employees, fostering a culture of continuous development.

  • Maintain accurate employee records and assist with resolving work-related issues and complaints.

  • Counsel and advise management and employees on HR matters.

  • Stay up to date with federal and state laws and regulations, adapting policies and procedures accordingly.

  • Prepare accurate information for worker’s compensation insurance and safety and assist with workers’ compensation claims.

  • Initiate programs for employee feedback, performance reviews, and exit interviews.

 

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Professionalism, positivity, and energy are a must.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Basic data entry and keyboard competency.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer service mindset.

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in human resource management, business administration, or related field plus SHRM or PHR certification OR bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field.

  • 3+ years of HR work experience.

  • Knowledge of HR practices and procedures, as well as compliance with state and federal regulations.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Experience managing across multiple sites, requiring up to 25% travel.

  • Prior experience with data entry, payroll, or HR systems, especially Paychex, desired.
