Job Details:
Compensation: $70,000 – $90,000 per year (annual bonus opportunity)
Job Type: Full-Time – Flexible Schedule Opportunities, Weekend availability
Location: Multiple Sites Across the Southeast
Travel: Limited -10-15%
Job Description:
As our HR Director, you will lead a team covering HR administration, recruiting, and housing. Responsibilities include the ownership of all HR related functions and responsibilities with each season determining where the primary focus is. Dive into a full spectrum of HR initiatives, systems, and tactics, working across all departments while enjoying a dynamic work environment that spans across multiple locations and states.
Responsibilities:

Develop corporate strategy and plans for various HR related functions: compensation, benefits, performance evals, onboarding, training and development, health and safety

Oversee HR initiatives, systems, and tactics

Provide guidance to HR Department personnel

Act as the point of contact for employment relations

Ensure adherence to internal policies and legal standards

Address grievances and violations, implementing disciplinary action as required

Anticipate, mitigate and resolve potential litigation risks

Report HR metrics to senior management
Skills:

Proven experience as HR Director or Assistant HR Director

Understanding of organizational operations

Knowledge of employment related legislation and regulation

Thorough understanding of HR management principles and best practices.

Exceptional organizational and leadership skill

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

Diligent, ethical and firm

Preferred: Experience in hospitality and outdoor recreation, working with beginner staff and seasonal employees, familiarity with ADP payroll systems
