Job Details: 

Compensation: $70,000 – $90,000 per year (annual bonus opportunity) 

Job Type:          Full-Time – Flexible Schedule Opportunities, Weekend availability 

Location:          Multiple Sites Across the Southeast

Travel:                  Limited -10-15%


Job Description: 

As our HR Director, you will lead a team covering HR administration, recruiting, and housing. Responsibilities include the ownership of all HR related functions and responsibilities with each season determining where the primary focus is. Dive into a full spectrum of HR initiatives, systems, and tactics, working across all departments while enjoying a dynamic work environment that spans across multiple locations and states. 



  • Develop corporate strategy and plans for various HR related functions: compensation, benefits, performance evals, onboarding, training and development, health and safety

  • Oversee HR initiatives, systems, and tactics

  • Provide guidance to HR Department personnel

  • Act as the point of contact for employment relations 

  • Ensure adherence to internal policies and legal standards

  • Address grievances and violations, implementing disciplinary action as required 

  • Anticipate, mitigate and resolve potential litigation risks

  • Report HR metrics to senior management



  • Proven experience as HR Director or Assistant HR Director

  • Understanding of organizational operations

  • Knowledge of employment related legislation and regulation 

  • Thorough understanding of HR management principles and best practices. 

  • Business acumen with a human touch

  • Exceptional organizational and leadership skill 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities 

  • Diligent, ethical and firm

  • Preferred: Experience in hospitality and outdoor recreation, working with beginner staff and seasonal employees, familiarity with ADP payroll systems
