Job Position: Grounds Crew Member
Location: Black Mountain, NC 28711
Pay Rate: $20.00/hr
Monday – Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm Temporary Assignment
Friday Workforce Solutions is hiring for our client in Black Mountain. We are on the search for a crew member on their Grounds Team. The primary purpose of this position is to maintain the appearance of the campus so that it is presentable at all times, and to assure that the highest degree of quality care will be provided to our residents and their surrounding environment. Schedule for this position is Monday – Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm, however, there is also a possibility of a 4-day work week, working 10 hour days as well.
What you’ll do:
• Perform duties necessary to maintain an attractive and safe environment throughout campus
• Assist with turf maintenance, as needed, including trimming on banks and natural areas
• Keep shrub and flower beds clean, weeded, edged, and mulched
• Remove fallen leaves
• Prunes shrubs and trees with the guidance of the Landscape Crew Member
• Properly maintain power equipment and hand tools, with the supervision of the Mechanic
• Keep the campus clean and neat by picking up litter, fallen limbs, etc. and cleaning silt from curb
• Perform any other duties and/or tasks that may be assigned on an as-needed basis by an authorized supervisor
What you’ll need:
• High School GED equivalent is preferred
• Must possess a valid North Carolina Driver’s License
