Job Position: Finisher
Location: Asheville, NC 28801
Pay Rate: $17.00, $17.50 once hired on + full benefit package
Shift: First 6:00am – 3:30pm + OT is likely through the week and Saturday mornings.
Friday Staffing is seeking to fill Prep Shop Technician roles for our Asheville, NC manufacturing client. Client is seeking strong mechanical and electrical aptitude in all applicants.
Essential Duties:
Attention to detail
Take pride in work
Able to work independently as well as a team
Ability to multi-task and adapt to schedule changes
Follow mixing instructions for resins and chemicals
Comfortable with using proper PPE
Capable of completing all prep work
Good organizational skills including 5S and related house-keeping
Education/Experience:
General auto body knowledge (drywall experience acceptable) is helpful
Work Environment:
Manufacturing plant involving exposure to carbon and fiberglass fibers, vinyl ester, polyester and epoxy resins; sanding and grinding dust and noise.
