Commercial Litigation Attorney- Remote or Hybrid

One of our clients, a disruptor in the legal services industry, is seeking an entrepreneurial-minded commercial litigator to complement their thriving corporate law and tax law practices. This opening is ideal if you possess a partial or full book of business but desire greater work/life balance with no annual billable hours’ requirement combined with the ability to work remotely or in office when not in trial. It is also ideal if you require more support from shared services- administrative or assistance from a legal assistant or a paralegal to grow your business or if you would like to take your earning potential to the next level with marketing support and additional earning potential.
Responsibilities:
Litigate on commercial litigation matters to include shareholder and partnership disputes, legal fee disputes, business torts, breaches of contract, fraud, asset sales, asset recovery, insolvency, Unfair and Deceptive Trade Practices, debt collection, franchise advice and litigation, mediation, and arbitration.
Experience defending clients in complex litigation matters.
Commitment to producing high-quality results; with strong attention to detail and research.
Adept at negotiation and settlement skills.
Collaborate with a team of transactional corporate and tax attorneys and other experienced litigators with ability to work autonomously.
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of commercial litigation experience; real estate litigation, construction litigation or employment law experience is a plus.
Entrepreneurial with ability to build long-lasting relationships.
Highly motivated with ability to work autonomously.
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited program.
Licensed to practice law in Michigan and in good standing.
Compensation: Uncapped earning potential with a fee/split up to 70% with additional earning potential.
