Friday Services is seeking to fill MULTIPLE Production Assembler positions for a well-established manufacturer of sensors and sensor controls located in Brevard, NC. This contract-to-hire role offers $16–$17/hour DOE, a steady day-shift schedule, and a clean, temperature-controlled work environment.
Job Summary:
Join a collaborative production team assembling components for advanced sensor and control systems. You’ll work on an assembly line, ensuring quality workmanship and compliance with manufacturing standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble standard parts and subassemblies using tools and equipment per engineering drawings and routers
Ensure compliance with Ex, IRIS, TS, and ISO standards
Perform basic inspections using tools such as hi-pot testers and multi-meters
Operate hand tools (e.g., wire cutters, pliers, wire strippers) and preparatory machinery (e.g., soldering irons, grinders, arbor presses)
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Must pass an entry-level skills test
Will work under supervision
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Comfortable working with chemicals including epoxy, isopropyl alcohol, solder, and cleaning agents
Physical Demands:
Sitting: 55%
